A little about: Mediterraean Architecture

Mediterranean architecture draws heavy inspiration from coastal regions of Europe, particularly Spain, Italy, and Greece. The style is denoted by white stucco walls, red clay tile roofs, arched windows (and doorways), iron details, and open courtyards. Designed for warm climates, Mediterranean homes often feature thick walls and shaded spaces that help regulate temperature naturally. Courtyards pull hot air out naturally aswell. The style is currently quite popular due to its functionality in hotter climates and appealing nature.
