A little about: Baroque Architecture
Image Credit: Elias Rovielo Baroque architecture emerged in 17th-century Europe as a decorative and theatrical style associated with grandeur and emotion. Often linked to the Catholic Church and monarchies, Baroque buildings feature dramatic curves, elaborate ornamentation, domes, frescoes, and detailed interiors. Baroque buildings are rarely constructed now adays, but the standing examples of them usually attract tourists and sight-seers. |
