STACEY

Stacey March is a 15-year-old girl from VEDANA CITY. She lives in the largest house in the city with her grandmother and her dog, Winston. The rest of her family evacuated ATINA shortly after she was born. She has a small, gray boxer dog named Winston that follows her around wherever she goes.

She has green eyes and black hair. All of her clothes are hand-me-downs from her grandma. She smells strongly of perfume. "It's my signature scent," she would say.

Stacey was taken in by her grandma after her immediate family left the country. She knows little to nothing about her parents, but she tries not to let it bother her. She fosters a great relationship with her grandmother, after all. Although her cold expression might lead a stranger to think otherwise, she deeply cares for the people in her life.

Likes:

Dislikes:

  • Nothing (“Is there a benefit to hating anything?”, she would say)
  • Rosy, Kenji, and Hajime (“But there is an exception,” she would say)

Stacey hasn't changed a single bit since the dream I had. I at first designed her to look a little bit like Ana from Earthbound: Beginnings (1989) and Paula from Earthbound (1994), but I wanted her personality to be colder than those two characters. (If you were to ask me, I would say that Paula from Earthbound is actually a pretty atypical and odd girl with a unique disposition as opposed to the bright, smiley, and no-thoughts-in-her-head girl a lot of people make her out to be. I kind of kept that in mind when coming up with Stacey; that I DIDN'T want her to be perceived as the latter. But enough about Earthbound.)

I’ve realized that both Stacey and Hajime are a bit similar in the fact that they’re both oddballs, but Stacey is aware of her ‘unique’ qualities, while Hajime is not. She loves the idea of being a mysterious person.

The March house hosts a lot of sleepovers, which typically consist of makeovers (on an eager Aria and unenthusiastic Marcell), movies (usually her grandma's favorites on DVD), and popcorn. Although not much ever happens in their city, somehow, Stacey and her friends always find something new to gossip or giggle about.
