The MUSIC!

This is all of the music that I have composed for the game so far! I compose my songs in the software Cubase 14 LE, and I occasionally do some touch-ups in Garageband. Garageband is a free software, but Cubase 14 LE is only partially free. It comes for free in a bundle with another item and cannot be purchased alone.

(This screenshot of the Cubase 14 LE interface was taken by me.)

If you don't feel like listening to all of them, I have picked which Top 3 songs are my favorites (but yet again, my tastes might be different than yours).

Main Theme (Death of Atina)

(Written July 25th, 2025) (TOP 3)

At first, this piano piece was written for something else entirely, but it ended up being something that for one, I dropped, and it wouldn’t have made sense if it were to have music anyway. So I ended up adopting this for the game around 7 months into the development process. Even so, you can still hear certain melodies present in other tracks on this page. :)

Fun Time

(Written August 30th, 2025)

So whimsical. I had this set as Rosy’s theme for a while, but over the past couple of months, I feel like it hasn’t really matched her character. So I’ve changed it to be the song that plays if something really cute is going on. But until I permantantly decide, this song will have the cheesiest title known to man.

PROPHECY

(Written August 30th, 2025)

I wrote this in a different key than what ended up being the final product (which is something that's becoming more common as I write more songs, for some reason). I asked some friends what they thought of my initial draft, and they advised me to pitch it down to make it sound more solemn, which I ended up agreeing with. This was supposed to be the theme for The GUIDE, but now, it’s for the prophecy in general.

Raggamuffins

(Written October 12th, 2025)

The song that plays when fighting either the Evil Kids or Good Kids. I didn’t give them different themes because I found that in their writing, their goals and attitudes remained the same in both groups. So they both get the same vibe. It’s meant to sound really rough around the edges.

VEDANA CITY: Evening

(Written October 28th, 2025)

I know it sounds empty, which it’s kind of supposed to. During the evening, people are either still at work or on their commute home, so the residential parts of town can be weirdly quiet, especially in a place like VEDANA CITY. The piano is supposed to sound out of tune for two reasons: one, it provides an eerie vibe, and two, the piano I was playing on when I wrote it was out of tune (even though this is a MIDI file).

VEDANA CITY: Night

(Written November 1st, 2025) (TOP 3)

HELLO! I love this song. There’s a lot of emotions in it. The night in VEDANA CITY is packed full of drama. Not to glaze myself, but I really like this song.

VEDANA CITY: Morning

(Written January 7th, 2026) (TOP 3)

I wrote this in New York. That’s how you know it’s peak. It was at this point that I began to realize that some of the songs I write have a distinct chord progression. I think I might be developing a signature sound. If you can pinpoint exactly what it is, I’ll give you five bucks.

GUIDE's Theme

(Written March 23rd, 2026)

It kind of just sounds like a bunch of different pots and pans, but that’s kind of the point. For the drums in this song, I literally just typed in random notes on my computer to make it sound as erratic as possible. The GUIDE is a weird guy.

VEDANA CITY: Bar

(Written April 6th, 2026)

This song plays on a busted old jukebox in a bar, hence the bad quality. I won’t be able to specify it in the game if I want (at the highest) to have a PG-13 rating, but this is supposed to be played at a bar. The kids get served Kind-Of-Not-Really Water.

VEDANA CITY: Corner Store

(Written April 8th, 2026)

This song plays on a small CD player, hence the bad quality. I really like the annoying little bird noise.

Reconciliation

(Written May 6th, 2026)

Very recent, I know! I want this to be a theme that plays when two of the friends make up after a fight, or a scenario similar to that. I really like the crackling noise in the background.
