ARIA

Aria Eloise is a 14-year-old girl from VEDANA CITY. She comes from a very wealthy family, but her parents refuse to move away from VEDANA CITY.

She has light brown eyes and yellow-blond hair. Ever since the schools in VEDANA shut down, she wears her old school uniform in public to remind her of her favorite days. The only thing she owns that doesn’t match with her uniform are her signature red high tops.

If the families of VEDANA were to be ranked by wealth, then her family would most likely come out on top. Her house is classy, sleek, and refined with the latest technologies. Everything is modern except for Aria’s collection of aged books in her room. With such money, it’s a wonder that the family hasn’t evacuated the country yet. Perhaps they don’t believe in the prophecy. But Aria? Does she?

I think that Aria is the only character who hasn’t really changed over my 10-month development period (the only difference being that she’s less of a brat than in her concept form). I’m currently writing the part where Rosy and Aria are starting to become friends (surprise surprise), so I’m trying to make their personalities distinct from each other.

Aria speaks very similarly to the way I speak, but slightly more polite. She really likes Shakespeare (which she knows is a really weird thing for a teenager to like), and I really like writing the parts where she just geeks out to her friends. She craves knowledge so that she can be purposeful, and tries to individualize her personality traits to please the people around her. She jumps back and forth between being swayed by her heart and logic.
