The DEATH OF ATINA

On July 29th, 2025, I had a dream at night about two trios of rowdy teenagers that had to work out their differences in order to save the world. They traveled around the country, fought supernatural beings, and got to understand each other a little more along the way. I immediately woke up from my dream and wrote down everything I could remember about it because I knew that I could turn it into a story. I just had to.

The following day, I drew out sketches and names of characters, locations, and plot devices. I opened a Google Doc titled, “2100 A.D.” (This was the original title that I had in mind for the game. I changed it as my internal vision for the game changed, but now part of me wonders if I should change it back. I feel like the name ‘Death of Atina’ might be too harsh). I bought the software RPG Maker MV (which is usually $90, but I bought it on sale for $14), a beginner-friendly videogame creation software that some of my favorite games have been developed on. Ever since then, I’ve been slowly plugging away at this project of mine every single day.

One day, I hope that this will be a finished game.
