Stratocumulus clouds form in low altitudes and are white or grey water droplet clouds with a distinct cloud base and a variety of visible structures. These form closer to the earth's surface from low-level moisture and can be seen all year. A large-scale traveling system or a cold front, an increase in moisture levels, and light rain or drizzle can be predicted from these clouds
