Cirrocumulus clouds are small, white, and puffy, and often appear in rows or patches at high levels. Cirrocumulus clouds typically originate from Cirrus clouds. When Cirrus clouds thicken and their ice crystals collect, they are transformed into Cirrocumulus clouds. Mostly seen in winter and predicts fair weather and a stable atmosphere.
