Bruins
The Boston Bruins play in the National Hockey and is one of the first six founding teams that started in 1924. The other original six teams are the Chicago Blackhawks, Montreal Canadians, New York Rangers and the Toronto Maple Leafs. The Bruins have collected a total of 6 Stanley Cups in 1929, 1939, 1941, 1970, 1972 and 2011. They play in the Atlantic Division on of the Eastern Conference. The Bruins have played in the same Boston Garden as the Celtics, which is no called TD Garden. The hockey has not been short on talent. Legendary players include Bobby Orr, Ray Bourque, Phil Esposito, Johnny Bucky and Cam Neely. More recent renowned players are Patrice Bergeron, Zdeno Chara, Tim Thomas and Brad Marchand. In 2023, the Bruins finished the regular season with 65 wins and 135 points, but was beaten in the first round of the playoffs. It was a heartbreaking end of the season for fans who are still waiting for David Pastrnak's first Stanley Cup.
