Super Mushroom: The Super Mushroom, a white mushroom with red spots, transforms Mario into Super Mario and enlarges his size while providing him with an extra life.

Fire Flower: When Mario acquires the Fire Flower, he gains two lives and the ability to destroy minor enemies with fireballs.

Mega Mushroom: The Mega Mushroom temporarily changes Mario to a massive size and gives him invincibility powers.

Star: With the star power up, also known as Starman, Mario gains invincibility and flashes rainbow colors.

Super Leaf: Super Leaf first appeared in Super Mario Bros 3. When acquired, it gives Mario a raccoon costume and Luigi a fox costume, allowing them to float while falling with the addition of a second life.
