Manchester by the Sea to me is the saddest movie of all time. It follows Casey Affleck as a grief stricken man who learns of his brother's passing and must travel down to Manchester-by-the-sea, a small fishing town in Essex county Massachusetts to take care of his brother's son while already dealing with past demons. This film includes an all time performance from Casey Affleck who channels grief in such a believable way it's hard to even realize he's acting sometimes.
