Eyes Wide Shut is a modern American masterpiece on infedelity in marriage, but more importantly on what is going on behind the scenes in Hollywood. It includes wonderful performances from Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman as husband and wife. Tom Cruise's charcter's life is upended when his wife tells him that she almost cheated on him years ago, and she has no shame. Tom Cruise's character then goes on a crazy ride of exploring his values and realizing what is most important to him.
