Gru reunites with some of his former classmates in this movie. However, one of them is seeking revenge on Gru because he believes that Gru stole his talent show act back in the day. To stay safe, Gru and his family are relocated and given new identities. At this time, five minions are selected to be part of a new initiative called "Mega Minions." They are each given a unique superpower.
