The History of Candy

Candy has been around as long as people. Many ancient societies would use honey as their form of candy. Cavemen would turn it into taffy, the Egyptians would add fruit and nuts to it, and the Greeks would use it to candy fruits. On another hand, in Mexico, chocolatl was served as a liquid candy. Sugar as a whole was a popular commodity to sweeten items. Overall, people have always craved a sweet taste, and as humans we have invented unique ways to satisfy the need for sweets.
