Be Immortal, Would You Be?
Before I explain to you what would happen if you said yes or no, what would you choose? To live forever, or die at any moment?
To be immortal, you would be able to see the world change more than it already has. Technology like AI and flying cars has been booming in recent times, and to live forever means to see the world change even more. You would be able to experience what may be the world's most life-changing moments and become the most knowledgeable person. But it may not be all sunshine and rainbows.
To be immortal means to see everyone you love around you eventually pass away. While you live on forever, you lose your memory of the past. Extreme boredom would not evade you, and after doing everything the world may offer, you will be left with doing nothing more. Even worse, you may see the end of the world. While you may see the technology boom, you will see the end of the sun, which is scientifically proven to explode in 5 billion years, taking Earth with it too. Could you imagine spending 5 billion years doing nothing?
