The Hyperion: The World's Tallest Tree

Named for a titan from Greek mythology, the Hyperion is between six hundred and eight hundred years old, and stands over 380 feet tall. There are no trails leading to it within the national park, and to visit the Hyperion visitors must trail-blaze through dense undergrowth and cross a river. However, due to an increasing amount of damage to the surrounding area by curious tourists, aceess to the Hyperion has been closed off. As of this year (2022), anyone who gets within a mile of the tree will recieve up to six months in jail and a five thousand dollar fine.
