COMMUNITY OF WHALES
The pod may contain up to 50 animals, including female relatives of the matriarch (or female leader), and their offspring. pod (in zoology) The name given to a group of toothed whales that travel together, most of them throughout their life, as a group. Some species of whales are very social animals but the rest enjoy to be alone.
