Fencing is a combat sport involving two opponents attempting to score points by hitting a designated area on either one's bodies. The sport is fast-paced and cerebral, requiring quick thinking and adaptability.

What is Fencing?

Points are scored when a fencer hits their opponent's valid target area with the tip of their weapon. A Match is typically 15 points, fought in three-minute rounds. If time runs out, the fencer with the highest score wins. A bout in the game is when before they play, the fencers show respect to the referee with a salute and then the ref will state “Engard.”
