The US coast Gaurd has eight districts that are placed all over the country.
The 1st district is located in Boston Mass it's called the Northeast district. This districts is controls New Jersey, New York, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Vermont, and Maine. Next is the mid atlantic district it ensures the saftey of the ocean and marine transportation. The next one is the Southeast district which covers the coastline of Rhode Island and southeastren Massachusetts. Next the hearttland district which is the eighth district located in New Orleans it covers activites in 26 states. The great lakes district is located in Cleavland, Ohio. The Pacific Southwest is in Alameda whcih goes along with California, Nevada, Utah, Arizona. The pacific northwest is located in the North Pacific and Alaska. The final one is the Hawaii and the Pacific district.
