Venice
Venice is a city in northeastern Italy, and was built on a group of islands in the Venetian Lagoon. The different parts of the city are connected by canals and bridges.
The city is a very popular place for tourists to visit, as it is known as "the city of water". Nearly 250,000 people live in Venice, and almost 30 million people visit Venice per year.
