Legacy

Through her organization, the Missionaries of Charity, which continues to operate in dozens of countries, Mother Theresa helped to care for the sick, poor, and marginalized. She became a symbol of hope and kindness, having an impact on hundreds of life. She earned a lot of regognition for her works, including winning the Nobel Peace Prize in 1979. She left a lasting impact on the world and all of the lives that she helped to save.
