Astana
Astana is the capital city of Kazakhstan with just over one million inhabitants. Astana was breifly named Nur Sultan, after a Kazak president, however was changed back to Astana in 2022.
The capital was originally Almaty, but was moved to Astana, which means capital city in Kazak, in 1998.
