Osaka

Osaka is the third-most populous city in Japan, with a total metro population of 19 million. It is located in the Kansai region near other significant cities like Kyoto, Kobe, and Nara.

Osaka was officially founded as a city in 1889, but it's name goes as far back as 1496. That's pretty old.
