History of New England

New England was first settled by English Pilgrims in the early 1600s, including the founding of Plymouth Colony in 1620. It became a center of commerce, maritime trade, and early American political ideas. Over time, New England evolved into a place full of education and diverse culture, shaping much of the identity of the United States.
