Venice is a city in northeastern Italy made up of around 100 islands that are connected by over 400 bridges. It has a population of about 250,000 people.
The city of Venice is best known for its canals, bridges, and gondolas. Gondolas in Venice are a major tourist attraction, collectively making tens of millions of euros anually amongst various gondoliers.
