Rubik's Cubes

Menu

Welcome

Rubik's cubes are puzzles that can turn on multiple axis, allowing for smaller pieces to be scrambled. The most common are cube shaped. As you might know, the original and most iconic is a 3x3 cube. Since then, many have been made of different shapes and sizes. Actually solving the cube by oneself is incredibly difficult, so most cubers will simply look it up or learn how to from others. Cubes are solved through algorithms: a set of moves that ends up altering a reasonable number of pieces. For example, the Dance Party algorithm (R U' L' U R' U' L U) affects only 3 pieces, so using it to get a desired output is reasonably easy.
