Minas Tirith
Minas Tirith, Gondor is an excellent choice for a day trip. This large fortress has a few excellent attractions like the citadel. In the Citadel of Gondor, you can see the legendary White Tree of Gondor. This tree is an offspring of Telperion, one of the mighty trees of light in Valinor. Feel free to enjoy the magnificant view from the top while you're up there. Other than that, there isn't much to be done. With their pretty lackluster ammenities and stoney, uncomfortable inns, I wouldn't reccomend staying for very long.
