Graffiti is an artform in which can highlight political stances, self-expression, and territory marking. Some examples include tagging, murals, and markings. Each of which is unique to the artist. Tagging refers to enscribing a name or nickname on a wall usually in trainstations, subways, or streets. Murals are complex artistic paintings in which are viewable to the vast public. They are often planned and very colorful. "Markings" refer to the concept that graffiti was used in ancient times as a form of self expression and inscription found on cave walls or ancient structures.
