Oscar the Grouch lives in a trash can on Sesame Street. He is known for being very grumpy and grouchy. He likes trash, dirt, rotten food, and junk. He has a pet worm named Slimey. He may seem mean but he cares about people. He is mostly green but was sometimes orange in earlier appearances. He often fights with other characters like Elmo. He can also be seen in The Muppet Show and Sesame Street Specials.
